2017
Happy New Year! What a year, where has all
of the time gone, looking back it was a pretty good year.
Some of you may have realised that I haven't posted anything in
quite a long time; this is because I had a very unfortunate car accident on icy
roads which resulted in me snapping my collar bone, and being in quite a lot of
pain. As a result I took a break to focus on recovery. Unfortunately I did this
ten days before my 18th Birthday, and it was the first time I had ever broken a
bone. I would also like to take this time to recommend Admiral Car insurance as
they have been amazing and made the whole process really easy for me and they
dealt with everything and helped me with any questions that I had.
18, I can't believe it, although my birthday celebrations didn't
quite go to plan, due to the fact that I had planned to go ice skating, and
obviously I couldn't do that with a broken collar bone, but I didn't let that
get in the way of celebrating so instead I had all of my friends over and we
sat and watched Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (my favourite film of 2016) as
well as getting ready to go out where I met up with some of my old school
friends for a really nice meal, I had such a lovely time with my friends and it
was lovely to see everyone. As well as celebrating with friends I had a big
family party which was really fun as I got to see a lot of my family that I
hadn't seen in a while. On my actual birthday I went to a garden centre which
is mine and my dad’s favourite due to the amazing Christmas section, we had a
really nice meal and a good look around, and then I had to go to the hospital
for a check up on my collar bone, not the best way to spend your 18th but the
hospital staff were really nice to me and one of the ladies who did my x-ray
sang happy birthday to me which made me a lot happier.
Moving on from the past it is a New Year and a new beginning, I am
taking full advantage of that and I want to make 2017 a year to remember, from
going on trips to new places to getting fit, and I plan to take you with me
each step of the way. If anyone has any recommendations of places that I should
visit please leave them in the comments section below. A lot is going to be
happening in 2017 including finishing college and starting university, as well
as the launching of my own company.
Here’s to the New Year, I look forward to sharing what I get up to
with you all,
Love Eleanor xx
