Summer!
Summer
is here! Or so they say I am not sure that the weather is so sure, but that
can't stop us from making this the best summer so far.
I have
been away for a long time (It's been almost two months) but in that time I have
passed my driving test, bought myself a car, I produced an outfit that was in
our college fashion show and I also finished my first year of college with a
distinction and a distinction*. But now I am on my summer holidays I will be
posting a lot more all about what I am getting up to, tips and easy DIYs that
you can complete that will not break the bank.
I have
been on summer holiday for a week now and in this week I feel like I have done
loads. After finishing my first year at college I realised just how quickly
time flies and I knew that this summer would go twice as fast so I decided to
create a list of all of the things that I wanted to complete and as I do them I
am ticking them off.
I
cleaned my bedroom; this was quite a major job as there was so much stuff in my
room that I just didn't have room for. I decided that I needed to get rid of
some of my things to make room for new things (I managed to fill two suitcases
full of clothes, books and other things that I am going to take to a car boot
sale).
I have
also been making lots of things for my bedroom, I made a desk store which is
now holding all of my stationary and I made a new mouse pad which adds a bit
more colour to my room. And a load of other things, all of which I will share
with you throughout the next few weeks along with all of the other things I
have lined up to make.
I also
started to recover one of our chairs in our living room, It's a really old
chair that we just didn't want to get rid of, it’s been in our house since
before I can remember, and it just needed a new life so I got some new fabric
and I am now in the process of making it nice again.
I have
loads of other projects on the go at the moment, including a coat, a pair of
trousers and a dress. I am also at the stage of planning loads of trips this
summer which I will be able to share with you along with my outfit choices and
inspiration. I will also be looking into all of the trends that are around at
the moment and sharing my favourites as well as looking at what celebrities are
wearing and how to recreate their looks for less.
Don't
forget to follow me on Twitter and on Instagram to see what I get up to, and also please comment about what you want to see me do, or suggestions of places to visit.
Hope
you all have a lovely day.
Lots of
Love
Eleanor
